Introduction

Having strong administrative procedures are essential to an organization, like the MLDS Center, that is entrusted with a vast amount of sensitive student and worker data. Because of this, the MLDS Center has developed administrative procedures and policies to ensure that the data collected by the Center has been well vetted and determined to be necessary for conducting audits and evaluations of education programs. Procedures have also been developed to ensure that the data collected is maintained in a secure environment with rules that strictly protect the privacy of students and workers. Finally, procedures to govern the administration of the Center’s research have been developed to ensure the data is used for the audit and evaluation of educational programs and is prioritized based on the needs of Maryland stakeholders.
