MLDS Center Mission

The mission of the MLDS Center is to develop and maintain a data system that contains student data from all levels of education and workforce data in order to provide analyses, produce relevant information, and inform choices to improve student and workforce outcomes, while ensuring the highest standards of system security and data privacy.

Upcoming

August 30, 2024 - Public Comment Deadline
The MLDS Center Governing Board approved a series of regulatory changes in March of this year. Those changes are now published in the Maryland Register and public comments about the proposed changes can be made through August 30th. Final adoption of the regulations will be considered at the September 13th Governing Board meeting.

September 13, 2024 - The next meeting of the MLDS Governing Board will be held at 9:00 a.m. The meeting is open to the public and can be attended online (please contact us for instructions).
